I enjoy sharing my passion for fitness, wellness, and sport with others. I am here to help you reach your fitness goals through training that is diverse, fun and functional. I put together a program that will give you the most benefit, and at the same time make it interesting enough so you'll want to stick with it. It is very important to me that I create quality, challenging, and 'fun' workouts for you!

You will see improvements in your strength, endurance and physique with this program. It is my belief that it is not the destination but the journey that helps us to grow and change and thrive. Developing a healthy body as well as a strong mind and spirit enables us to meet our daily challenges with enough energy and strength to perform at our best and to possess the will and power to succeed in life.

I believe exercise should prepare you for anything. In our daily lives, we can't predict what sort of physical activity we'll need to perform, such as when we'll need to lift something heavier than we're used to or sprint after something at a moment's notice; but by doing bootcamp, we know we'll be able to handle it. You never know what life may present, so come and join us and prepare yourself for your life adventures.

I have been involved and interested in physical fitness as long as I can remember, although I never played any organized sports. I was the tom-boy in the neighborhood, did all the new aerobics and Tae-Bo programs, rode my bike to work, and checked out whatever new thing that came along. Since finding CrossFit, I’ve become stronger and fitter than any other fitness training I’ve tried. Being able to train with my teen-agers, “firebreathers,” and anyone in between is a reward in itself.

While attending a local fitness club, a trainer suggested I might like this thing called CrossFit. When I started classes and noticed a huge difference from the “globo-gym” that I had been attending. Why were the same people not getting any better physically speaking? They read lots of books, try lots of programs, but the gut, flab or love handles remained. The people at CrossFit worked hard, encouraged each other and saw great results. It was cool, different, and worked every area of the body including your mind. I was hooked! I couldn’t get enough and so I finally got certified and began training people like I wanted to be trained. This turned out to be my true passion.

CrossFit is applicable to all types of people at any fitness level or age. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. My approach to CrossFit tends to follow that model. I think any weakness can become a strength given time and effort. I follow the CrossFit approach to “constantly varied” but I also believe in adding a strength program. My favorite types of “WOD’s” have 2-3 movements in order to have greater strength gains and technique focus. I believe trainers should be constantly learning in order to better encourage and help their clients.
